.NET Domain Names
When the Dot NET gTLD was initially set up in 1985, along with the first domain extensions on the World Wide Web, it was supposed to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure firms. Since there were no special terms about the usage of the top-level extension, though, dot NET domains were secured and used for various purposes and by many people. This domain extension is a good substitute of dot COM, particularly if the necessary domain with the latter extension is not available for registration.
Purchasing a .NET domain with our firm is simple and takes just a couple of minutes, due to the fact that we partner with an ICANN-approved registrar firm. You can grab such a domain for a period between one and ten years, or, if you already own a domain, you can transfer it to our firm and we will renew it when the transfer process is finalized. Transfers are available for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, provided that they are unlocked and that you have obtained an EPP transfer code – security measures introduced by the Registry against unauthorized transfers. You can easily edit the WHOIS information of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you wouldn't like this information to be accessible at all, you can order a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to see your true contact details.
The .NET extension supports internationalized names, so you can pick whether you want to concentrate on a certain country or region using a domain name in the native language, or the global online community – using a generic English name.
.NET Domain Management with APT Cloud
Our feature-rich, and easy-to-use Domain Manager can be used by both webmasters as well as hosting rookies. It offers everything that you'll need to take care of several domains at once from one and the same place. Your domains' DNS and WHOIS settings will be fully within your control.
The Domain Manager is, in fact, an important part of the Web Hosting Control Panel. What this means is that you'll be in a position to manage not only your domains, but also your sites, without actually leaving the Control Panel, on the sole condition that you also have a hosting account with us.
